What can be deleted depends on whether you want to leave a workspace, delete your personal account, close a workspace, or request the deletion of a visitor conversation.
Leave a workspace
An administrator can remove your membership. Your personal account may continue to exist if you belong to another workspace or if limited information must be retained for security or legal obligations.
Delete your personal account
Send a request to [email protected] from the email address associated with the account. We will verify your identity and explain the consequences before completing the deletion.
If you are the sole owner or administrator of an active workspace, ownership may need to be transferred or the workspace closed first. We do not delete other people’s business data simply because an agent leaves.
Close a workspace
An authorized customer administrator should contact support. Available exports, the retrieval period, and deletion are handled in accordance with the customer’s agreement and DPA.
Information that may need to be retained
- accounting or contractual records required by law;
- limited security information or information required for legal claims;
- protected database backups that are deleted no later than 90 days after creation and are not used in normal operations.
- We record which terms you accepted, when you accepted them, in which language, and your name, email address, and role, and we retain this information for ten years even if you ask us to delete your account because it is our evidence that the agreement was entered into, while the IP address and browser information are removed when the account is deleted and no later than after two years.
Visitor chat data
If your request concerns a chat with a business through Saazly, please contact the business first. The business is normally the data controller and provides instructions to Saazly. You can also contact support; include the business’s website and the approximate time, but do not send more personal data than necessary.
